Private Lessons are available to work on specific behavior goals of the dog and owner. These sessions are typically in-home but can also meet outside of the home depending on the training goal. Zoom sessions are also possible for cases where that is preferred or needed.

Changing behavior happens in stages and learning happens in layers so the number of sessions needed are dependent on the individual specifics of each case.

Examples of the types of behaviors best addressed in private lessons are:

- any type of aggressive behavior

-separation anxiety or distress

-confinement anxiety or distress

-fearful or anxiety related behaviors

- any behaviors specific to the household

- any dog who may be overwhelmed in a busy group class environment.

Please note, pricing and scheduling for these services are assuming clients are in the Elkhart, IN area. An extra trip charge will apply for anyone outside of the 40 mile radius of Elkhart, IN. Scheduled times may also need to shift if travel time takes more than is automatically allotted.

Group classes are designed for dogs and humans who enjoy learning in a group setting. We offer multiple group class options including both set date courses and drop-in style classes. These classes are curriculum based and break down individual predetermined behaviors into small steps for easy learning.

We were hopeful to add some big news to our boarding options in 2026, however we are not yet ready. 2025 was more of a challenge than expected and our plans are ongoing and evolving for the better in 2026. For now, we are currently boarding on a very limited and selective case by case basis.

Occasionally we work with dogs who prefer a small circle of trusted humans or dogs and do not handle traditional boarding facilities or in home pet sitters well. My husband built four boarding runs in our garage specifically for these dogs.

Before boarding, our guest must have a positive working relationship with Sarah and must be able to be cared for by her. (Often this relationship is built in private lessons). Boarding services must be approved and scheduled directly with Sarah.

Board and Train options are also possible with approval. Board and train services are wonderful for keeping your dog working on behaviors while they are here and busting boredom. Please note though, board and Train services are not designed to be the only training your dog receives. We can train amazing things in a short period, BUT those behaviors do not automatically transfer when your dog returns home without work in the home as well.
